Godrej Lifespace in Sri Lanka, Nepal and West Asia

We have just got to know that Godrej Lifespace, the retail arm in Home and Office furniture space is expanding into Sri Lanka, Nepal and West Asia by 2010. Motwani VP of Business Development said,We are targeting a turnover of Rs 450 crore including Rs 150 crore from southern states and about 20% from non Godrej brands. The company is also focusing on opening stores in tier-II and tier-III cities in India.Earlier we had reported about Godrej Lifespace opening up 3 more stores in Hyderabad. Motwani was in Hyderabad to open a store near Hi-Tech city. Godrej Lifespace now has 49 stores on franchisee or self owned model.
On the product category expansion front, Godrej Lifespace will soon stock Microwaveable containers, Children's products and Crystal ware.
