Smeg Italian Appliance Hit Indian Shelves

Monday, May 28, 2007

Smeg Italy just a while ago launched its brand of build-in appliances in the Indian market. On your left, you can see the Smeg Electric Stove which our blogger photographed in Hyderabad.

Smeg currently operates in Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad through its Indian partner, SMB international. The three categories of products - cooking, cooling and washing address the needs of style conscious and quality-conscious needs of customers.

The company in the past has employed the services of world famous architect, Mr Reno Piano to design its product exteriors.

Is Sonia Gandhi the reason for Italian rush in India ?

FIAT is Italian and it has come to India long before Sonia Gandhi did. SMEG is a renowned and good brand abroad and am sure will live up to it's quality expectations in India as well
